Housing Shortage

Is it possible that there will be a housing shortage in the next 18 months??? I believe so for the following reasons;
1. It takes 12-18 months to move a piece of dirt from purchase to development stage
2. Births-Record birth rates
3. Families that had doubled up will start moving out on their own.
4. Strinking housing supply from natural sources
5. Unavailablity of building material due to the loss of suppliers, ie lumber yards, plumbing supply and various building manufactures
6. Imigration is still on the rise, the USA is still the best place in the world to Live.
7. Cheap Interest
8. Government incentives to own a home
